Emily M. Budd is the President of EK Consulting, Inc., where she helps nonprofit organizations maximize their impact without increasing overhead. With a deep-rooted passion for mission-driven work, Emily partners with nonprofits to provide strategic management, fractional leadership, and operational support to empower organizations to focus on what matters most: serving their communities.

A trusted leader in Southwest Florida’s nonprofit sector, Emily brings more than a decade of hands-on experience in advancing collaborative, community-centered solutions. She is known for her ability to effectively and efficiently manage resources, build meaningful partnerships, and create sustainable impact with intention and heart.

Before acquiring EK Consulting in 2024, Emily served as the first full-time Director of Future Ready Collier, guiding a network of over 60 organizations to improve education and workforce outcomes for local youth. Her prior role as Director of Development at a local behavioral health center focused on building philanthropic support and cultivating community relationships.

Emily earned her B.A. in Public Relations and Nonprofit Leadership from Murray State University and was recognized in 2019 by Gulfshore Business as one of Southwest Florida’s 40-Under-40.

A Naples native, Emily is deeply committed to strengthening her hometown and beyond. She and her husband Travis are raising their children, Hazel and Nathaniel, to love and serve the community they call home. You’ll often find them at local favorites like the Children’s Museum of Naples, The Naples Players, the Naples Zoo, or The Conservancy of SWFL.

Gianna Harts is a South Florida native and seasoned financial consultant with over 15 years of experience in bookkeeping, nonprofit financial management, and operational support. As Vice President at EK Consulting, she specializes in streamlining operations and accounting processes, payroll, AP/AR, budgeting and effectively managing grant reporting ensuring financial clarity for her clients.

Her leadership and insight have supported numerous nonprofit organizations, including the Collier County 100 Club, The Martin Foundation, The Forum Club, and The Collier County Junior Deputies League.

Gianna holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems Management and an Associate of Arts in General Studies. She is a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, a Florida State Licensed Specialty Contractor in Limited Energy Systems, and an NRA Certified Rifle Instructor and Range Safety Officer certifications.

Outside of work, Gianna enjoys life with her husband, Steve Harts. They have five adult children and two grandchildren, and they love traveling to North Carolina, Texas, and Hawaii to spend time with their family. In her downtime, Gianna enjoys cruising, relaxing with a good (or hilariously bad) B-rated movie, and making the most of life’s simple joys.
